I am an evolutionary biologist studying the evolution of sexually selected traits. I do this using a combination of experimental biology, comparative analyses, and field work. During my Ph.D. I studied the evolution of sperm morphology in Anolis lizards in Robert Cox's lab at the University of Virginia. I am currently a postdoc at Stockholm University in John Fitzpatrick's lab studying sperm evolution across the animal tree of life and evolutionary trade-offs between traits associated with male-male competition.
